Mother Nature is responsible for all of the daily weather events that occur all over the world, whether it’s a beautiful white blanket of snow or an earthquake that kills hundreds. She is neither Positive or Negative, but a combination of both…She is to be both loved and feared as She is highly unpredictable.

MAGICK

Possibly the major difference between magick and many of the religious paths
to spiritual growth is that magick is more dynamic, and places the emphasis
on you to work for change - there are no gurus in magick, rather there are
fellow students with different perspectives and experiences - we learn from
each other, as in other areas of life.

Magick tends to work a lot with symbols, as these are the language of the
unconscious, and this is an area of tremendous power to tap. Symbols have
many functions, and one of these, released through magick, can be the
ability to confound the ego and the censor mechanisms, and enabling us to
perceive more subtle truths, or experience direct revelations. Although we
may not be able to fully explain how symbols work, we know from experience
that certain symbols seem harmonious with certain types of energy.

Here are some common household herbs that can be easily obtained and used in your spells or magickal workings: Basil – Is regarded as a love token. It is wonderful for neutralizing and repelling negative energy. Use it in your healing spells, or sprinkle it at the threshold to your home to keep away unwanted influences. Basil can also be used in prosperity spells to encourage abundance and positive outcomes.
Bay leaves – can help you to strengthen your psychic abilities, repel negativity, and increase your personal power. Use it in spells to open your psychic awareness, promote prophetic dreams, and increase your courage in any undertaking.
Cinnamon – is a multi-purpose herb that can be used in nearly any type of spell or magickal work. Typically it is known for its prosperity-attracting properties, but you can also use it for protection, enhancing spiritual awareness, and encouraging healing.
Cloves - To ensure that a friendship lasts for a long time, some cloves are sewn up in two little bags, each friend carries one at all times. Fennel seed – is even more powerful at repelling negativity in all forms. Use it in your banishing spells or leave small dishes of it in the main areas of your home to neutralize negativity.
Lavender – flowers are wonderful for calling in positive energy and repelling negative energy. They have a calming scent that can instantly make you feel more relaxed and lighthearted, which makes them great for healing spells, love spells, and fertility spells. You can also use them to call in positive energy in any kind of magickal working.
Peppermint – is great for neutralizing negativity, and encouraging healing, love, and serenity in the home.
Sage – is wonderful for clearing away negativity also. It has cleansing properties that can be helpful in house-clearing rituals. You can purchase sage "sticks," which are small bundles of dried sage leaves tied together, which you can light and allow the smoke to "smudge" away any negativity in your home, or any other location. Sesame seeds – attract success and abundance. Place them anywhere you wish to attract more prosperity, whether at home or work. You can also carry a small pouch of them when going to a job interview, or starting your own business.
